“Okay, everyone! I have enough gems for Bludo’s roast, goro!” Yunobo held handfuls of jewels, which he brought over to a cooking pot nearby. Said pot had a huge Rock Roast inside, too big to fully fit inside. “Now, just one second…” Gritting his teeth, Yunobo closed his fists, squeezing tightly, and the gems were crushed into brightly colored dust, which he sprinkled onto the roast. “Okay! We’re ready, goro!”

The trip up to the hot springs didn’t take long, and soon they had arrived, Rock Roast in tow. “Bludo! I have your meal, goro!”

“Finally!” Bludo rubbed his hands together as he stood up and started out of the hot springs. “I’ve been waitin’ on this all day!”

CRACK.

Bludo froze in place a moment, before he bent over, a look of excruciating pain on his face. “Darn it! My back!! I spent all day in these springs, and it did nothing!!!”

“Bludo!”
The younger Goron set the roast down and escorted Bludo back into the water. “Take it easy, goro!”

“Ugh...my back just keeps gettin’ worse and worse!” He looked around. “Where’s Dell? Ain’t he supposed to talk with me about somethin’? He needs to hurry up and do it!”

“I’m here, I’m here!” Dell rushed up to the hot springs, looking particularly scratched up. “Sorry, I took a wrong turn and got held up with some Moblins. Fuckers knocked me out cold...What’s going on here?”

“Just the same as always,” Bludo grumbled. “My back, it’s killing me!”

“Aw, shit.” Dell ran a hand through his hair. “It’s really that bad?”

Yunobo handed Bludo the roast, which the elder started munching on. “Yup! I can barely get outta these hot springs without it acting up!”

“Fuck...all that training on Vah Rudania really did a number on you, huh?”

“*munch, munch* What training? I’ve had Yunobo here go up and practice on Rudania!”

“...What.”

“Oh! Yeah, goro.” Yunobo rubbed his head. “I’ve been training with Rudania, just like Daruk did. I think I’ve gotten the hang of it!”

“So you’re telling me, all this time, we could have just…” Dell closed his eyes for a minute. “No, no...I’m good. Yunobo, we need to attack Ganondorf in three days. We need you piloting Vah Rudania in order to launch that attack. Think you can handle it?”

The younger Goron nodded. “Just leave it to me, goro! I won’t let you down!”

“Great.” Dell sounded unconvinced, but looked at the group around him. “Let’s get ready to head out. We’re gonna meet up with the others in Kara Kara Bazaar outside Gerudo Town.”

“You guys go on ahead,”
Kaito said, getting out and allowing himself to dry off. “I swear there’s someone watching us, and I’m gonna find ‘em!”

“You do you, Kaito. In the meantime, everybody else head over to Daqo Chisay Shrine when you’re all ready,” Dell said.

“Make sure to come back to Goron City!”Bludo bellowed. “We’ll be happy to get you guys settled for the night!”

As the last racers finished their runs, and all prizes were handed out, Riju addressed the crowd one last time.

“Thank you all for your participation in this race! I know these past hundred years have made Seal Racing almost impossible, so I couldn’t be happier to bring this tradition back!”

The crowd cheered, and soon dispersed, until Riju, her guard, and the group was left.

“You all did wonderfully today,” Riju said. “But that’s to be expected, really. I doubt there’s much you couldn’t do, after seeing you all tame Vah Naboris.”

“Thank you, Lady Riju,” Margreet said, curtsying again.

“Oh please, call me Riju. We’re alone, after all.” The young leader giggled, tilting her head in amusement. “But...something tells me you’re not just here for racing. What brings you all to Gerudo Town today?”

“Well, you see...we’re ready to attack Ganondorf again. We already found some of his Traitors, and we’re much more of a team than we were last year!”

“I see. Well, that’s excellent news. Are you requesting borrowing my soldiers? They’ve been training incredibly hard ever since the Yiga Clan got their new master, so-”

“Oh, no.” Margreet shook her head. “We don’t need your army. We actually need you, Riju. You know how to pilot Vah Naboris, right?”

Her guard scoffed. “What a preposterous question! Lady Riju is only thirteen, far too young to-”

“Why yes. I do.” Riju smiled. “I’ve been training myself with her for a few months now. Usually it’s at night, but that gives me plenty of time to master her controls undetected.”

“B-But Lady Riju! That’s incredibly unsafe!”

“It’s all right, Buliara. Naboris and I are quite close now. I can handle her quite well.” She turned back to Margreet. “I take it you’ll need me to fire a shot on Hyrule Castle when the time comes, correct?”

“Yes! You won’t even have to leave the desert! We’ll send out a signal when the time comes, and that’ll be when you fire, all right?”

“Understood.” Riju looked up at the sky. “Evening will be coming soon, yes? You all might want to find sleeping arrangements. I’ll be happy to accomodate you here.”

“Thank you! For now though, we need to meet up with everyone at the Kara Kara Bazaar. We’ll definitely see you soon!” With that, Margreet started off for the nearby bazaar, encouraging the others to follow.

Their goal was a platform off the coast of the island. Only a short swim away, it was easier for the group to make a small ride on raft to the area. Getting off the boat, Lee was the one to take the orb and place it on the small groove in the pedestal. Once it was placed, the orb vanished into thin air, and the platform became blue.

"Yohohohoho! Look!" Brook pointed to the top of the hill, where the shrine glowed blue. "It worked! It really worked!!"

"Finally," Lee said, getting back onto the raft. "Let's get you three out of here."

A short walk and climb brought the six to the shrine, where only three of them would be able to leave. "Make sure you all have your weapons ready," Lee said. "I'm sure it's not as safe out there than it is here." He paused a moment, adding a simple, "Good luck."

As they were waved goodbye by the others, the three would enter the shrine, only for it to turn orange again once they did so. Inside was nothing special, save for three Sheikah Slates and a note, only saying, "Daqo Chisay." Well, guess that was where you were headed. Pressing the button would take you right outside of Gerudo Town...and you could see a group walking just shortly up ahead.

Kara Kara Bazaar was just a short walk away from Gerudo Town. An oasis in a harsh desert, there was an inn here, as well as some small vendors, and cool blue water. As both groups reconvened, Dell did a headcount. "I wanna make sure we're all here before we move on, but...six people missing? Jeez. I know Kaito was off looking for some spy over at the hot springs."

"...and Zelda was getting Fireproof Elixirs ready for anyone going to Goron City tonight." Margreet frowned, concerned. "But four others missing? I don't-"

"Margreet! MARGREET!!!" Zelda came running to the group, pure horror on her face. It was easy to deduce just what had befallen those four others. "I...outside of town, they...!"

Margreet ut her hands on Zelda's shoulders. "Zelda honey, shh. It's okay. What did you see?"

"GUYS!!!" Just then, Kaito came barreling into the bazaar. "We gotta hurry! Teruteru, he...I found him, and he...senpai is..."

"...dead." Dell closed his eyes. "Fuck! Everything was finally going right for once!" He looked at the group. "Okay, some of you can come with me to the hot springs, some of you can go with Zelda to that massacre site. And anyone else..."

He stopped as Margreet gasped, staring out over the horizon. Just then, three familiar people had arrived. Three people who should have been very, very dead.

"Hello, everyone!" Efi called with a wave. "Did you miss us?"

"...and anyone else...uh," Dell's pipe fell right out of his mouth. "Can, uh...deal with that."

@Archmage Jeremiah @Atomic Knight @Krieg @Otto @Raynar Saassin
When things seemed to go somewhat good, it turned ugly really fast really badly. And to make things even weirder, there were three dead people walking. 47 was certain they were dead, unless they were that good at faking their deaths. At which point he had to give them credit for the deception.not even 47 has been able to pull that off, yet.

Grievous went to the massacre site while 47 approached the three dead people. "How did you manage to be here? Weren't you killed by the traitors?" 47 asked them.

More in their group were dead? They'd have to try harder at getting the rest of the Traitors before the week was up and they ran out of time.

"!!" Efi and the other's return earned a shocked look from the man. This...this world was far stranger than he thought. Sighing after a moment, he allowed himself to relax.

208297.jpg

"Yes, things haven't changed much since you passed. Yuuki had your blade, though..." he spoke, relaxed.

tumblr_ntezjryHWZ1sqt9jyo9_400.png

"..." He gave a pointed look Peter's way as he brought up the rupees he basically looted. Giving a small huff, he went to look at the Massacre with Jin and Yuuki.

"How sad that just as others have died you jave returned. I'm still glad to see you three alright however! Mother Mila must favor you." Silque spoke, before heading to the Hot Springs to investigate.

@Hida Tomonatsu @Crow @Lucky @Yun Lee
"The line between preservation and looting is a thin one, Azel-san," Jin understood the man's annoyance quite well; more than a few times, he had judged those who looted corpses of fallen comrades as rapscallions only seeking profit rather than a pure path in life. He sighed and shook his head, "But it is no matter for me at the moment. From what I understand, you discovered who was responsible and decided their fate, and I have my blade; that is all I care for."

@Yun Lee @Lucky @Crow @Takumi

"Efi, uh...you may wanna stay here." That was all Dell had to say to the newcomers, as these murders were far too much to handle right now. Making sure everyone had a Fireproof elixir before they left, he and Kaito took off for the hot springs.

---

"I found him over here," Kaito said, leading the group to a few large rocks. The little chef's body leaned forward on the rocks, the only wound on him being a Shock Arrow to the back of his head.

"Poor idiot never knew what was coming," Dell muttered. "I think we found your spy at least, Kaito."

Kaito was not happy at all. "Damn it...! Even if he was a perv, he's still my senpai! I'm gonna find whoever did this, and when I do...!"

@Lucky @Crow @Alex Azure @Takumi

Zelda, meanwhile, led Margreet and the others to the site of what she dubbed the 'massacre,' which were a large set of ruins opposite the direction of the racing grounds.

"This...this slaughter went on without our knowing, while we were all racing around..." Zelda shuddered. "It's so horrible!"

There were four bodies around the ruins. Lyndis, Darius, Nia, and Rex...but where was Asher?

"I found this circlet right here," Zelda said, walking to an area of the ruins. "By the time I found it, it had been partially buried in the sand. I...I don't know where the body is. I couldn't find it anywhere."

"How odd..." Margreet looked over the scene, noticeably pale. "I...we should see if there's any evidence on the bodies. I'd chalk this up to Caster in a heartbeat, but he's not the kidnapping type...and I doubt the Yiga Clan would let a valuable trinket like that circlet go to waste."

Told to stay, Efi did so, taking a seat on a rock. "Oh yes, we did!" She said to 47. "But we wound up on a strange island somewhere in this place. Here, let me show you..." Producing her map, Efi pointed to the lower right corner. "There! But not all of us made it there. I heard Ken Masters died? He never arrived...it's unfortunate, but I think he stayed dead. We didn't, and some of us got to leave because you all found a Traitor?"

Jin's head snapped to the side as he heard an outraged cry escape the usually reserved young man at his side, his eyes widening for a moment in shock. After a moment though, he collected himself and placed a hand on Yuuki's shoulder to attempt a measure of comfort, "Calm down, Yuuki-san... we cannot lose our heads at the moment, not when we have a duty to do." Despite his own muted disgust over the deaths, the ronin knew they couldn't lose control over themselves; such things led to rash choices and mistakes, and he knew how fatal such flaws could prove. Thus, he joined Yuuki in the investigation with a stoic demeanor, going over whatever he examined after he did to ensure that nothing was missed.

"So, the first clue is a Shock Arrow, likely from one who uses it," Kokkoro ponders, "perhaps we could start narrowing our search from there, hmu hmu..."

Yuuki felt anger. His hands pulsated, and his teeth seethed. His eyes were fire and his skin was the furnace to endured the heat.

"H... H..."

Sounds emerged from Yuuki's mouth, essentially the whistling steam and smoke from the fire known as his eyes, before the storm emerged from his vocal cords.

“No, this shouldn’t be happening..”
The massacre killed more then all the other times, only Diana and Jin had died at first but now...
Well, this means the killer left more clues, didn’t they? They possibly couldn’t have cleaned up everything, right? They’ve caught some before, and they will catch the killer again.
Reimu began to run to the massacre site, well, as much as she could with a piece of meat that was the size of her torso.
————
“How could we have let this happen?!”
Diana might have been stupid to have been alone, but this time, it was their fault, four were left alone, and died. The group should have tried to include them and monitor them, now, they were dead. Reimu looked away, and clenched her fists in anger. Even Yuuki was angry enough to speak, so the impulsive shrine maiden was fuming.
“If it isn’t Caster or the Yiga, it must be one of us. Who could have done this disgusting act to innocents?”
Reimu looked at the bodies again, and took a deep breath. The maiden reassured herself.
“It’s just a pruning of the population...Just a population change...”
She walked forward, and began to investigate Lyndis’s corpse, for wounds, or notable items and other things.

Yuuki nods in response, agreeing with their words as he takes a deep breath and focuses.

Now that focusing was done, he was ready.

"Unlike the simple nature of the prior murders, I believe that the perpetrator enjoyed this. If they were unwilling, it would be as simple and comparatively clean as the prior kill, likely fewer victims as well. We may be able to round it down from there," Yuuki adds.

"Also, murders happened in two seperate places, do you think, based on time gap, they happened one after the other one, or did they happen at approximately the same time?"

"Narrow us down to people who use Shock Arrows, eh?" Dell nodded. "Yeah. Also, this is interesting. Look." He indicated the angle of the Shock Arrow. "This was shot from higher up." Higher above them were some cliffs. "I'm guessing our culprit scaled those and sniped him from there."

"Ganondorf is the type that never stops until we make him," Zelda replied. "He's always been that way, in every legend of his treachery. Last time, the kills were all sparse and clean, but this...I think he's lashing out in desperation, because he realizes there's a possibility he can lose."

The bodies were all interesting, in that they were all killed by different methods. Rex had been slashed across the chest. "Judging by the depth and length of this wound, the weapon that did this was some sort of sword." Zelda then moved over to Lyn. "And she had been impaled with a spear of some kind. See that hole in her stomach?"

Nia was a bit trickier. "She was...bludgeoned by something. I think she was struck in the head..." Zelda took a pose as if holding a shield, then made a motion as if striking something. "...perhaps hit with a shield, which knocked her into this pillar she's laying by. If one didn't kill her, the other did."

Margreet looked at the princess with surprise. "Why Zelda, I didn't know you knew about weaponry!"

"Just the basics of what wounds look like, I'm afraid. There was a chapter on battlefield injuries in this medicine book we had in the castle." As she got to Darius, though, she frowned, a bit green. His wound was a diagonal one, from shoulder to hip, and it was incredibly deep. There was a fair amount of blood splatter, and both sides of the wound looked rather grisly.

"I'm afraid I've never seen anything like this before...perhaps someone could get a good idea what it is?"

" I have a question for you, Kaito. What's a senpai?"
He asked. Peter paused when Kaito mentioning sniping. " Didn't Agent 47 mention that he used guns at one point and was a clean cleaner? This seems like a clean shot and he doesn't seem like a good guy. He did try to get the traitors killed," he replied. " I'll go and check the Cliffs," he replied.

"I believe that the perpetrator was not using his own weapons, or at least not solely," Yuuki analysed.

"Rex was struck by either a Knight's Broadsword, Lizal Forked Boomerang, Lynel Sword, Knight's Claymore or Windcleaver.

Lyn was struck with a Savage Lynel Spear, I assume, though if that is the case, the spear's axe-like protrusion should be evident.

If Nia was not hit by a shield, it could be a Dragonbone Moblin Club or Stone Smasher. If it was a shield, it is one of the shields that are more blunt on the sides.

I believe that the perpetrator used at least one or two weapons external to his or her stash. We should check the two areas to see if any weapons are missing. One of us should pay a visit to the Gerudo to see which weapons exactly were stolen and used from them.

Alternatively, they could've used the victims weapons against themselves."

"It may have been multiple traitors as well," Jin spoke up while examining the bodies as well, before frowning as he looked over Darius's body. Something had cleaved through him, and it had to be rather heavy from the look of it; even one skilled with a Windcleaver like he was would have difficulty to make a cut this deep in one strike when time was of the essence. As Yuuki mentioned the race prizes, he hummed and looked to the young man with a curious expression, "Race prizes? Am I to guess that you all received further weapons?"

"Mephistopheles mentioned that there were two more traitors, and one of them was at the Spring," Yuuki adds, "if that were the case, then there was a distant enough time period for both murders to happen one after the other."

"Indeed. I am able to remember two of the weapons given as prizes - Bomb Arrows given to Akane, and some kind of dagger - scimitar, as the weapon type was called, given to..."

"Peter, remember those memories we all got back? We investigated 47 last time, and he was innocent! It ain't him."

The cliffs were higher up, meaning that you would need to be pretty agile to reach them, not to mention having a significant amount of stamina. There wasn't much else to infer from the cliffs, or from this particular case, really.

"The only weapons given as prizes were scimitars and Bomb Arrows," Zelda said. "But Yuuki, though your logic is rather sound, I don't believe these weapons are anything like what we have. This sword wound on Rex is different than any other blade, including a scimitar. Like you said, that spear has no circular hole on it, Nia's wound is more ambiguous, but most all shields we have among us would do additional damage, and that cut on Darius...that is nothing I've ever seen."

"You're not suggesting that...this was done by someone completely different, do you?" Margreet was stunned.

"Yes. I think it was all done by the same person, too. This was methodical. Each weapon used only once, each person killed one at a time..." Zelda looked to the brunette woman. "Margreet, how many memories can you unlock right now?"

"I...oh!" Margreet gasped. "Only one..."

"Just like I thought. Only one person was killed by a Traitor...and I believe it was Teruteru. But who could have killed these four-or five-I have no idea."

“I can’t that you can talk. Aren’t you mute? Never mind. I doubt they enjoyed it, but certainly, it seems the murderer was either not forced, or had no qualms about it unlike that girl. Hmm, It seems Lyn was killed by a spear, although it should have a protrusion, true.”

Obviously, the killer had an unknown weapon, as Zelda said.
