"Not a fan of that nickname? Understandable. I call everyone that back home." Undyne stated, not so thrown off by Corrin's distrust and twitching as she continued marching. "So. Any questions about me? I'm more than happy to let you in on my story if your merry band already shared."

@Hahli Nuva

"That might be very helpful, yes. Who are you? How did you get here?"

Corrin remembered a time when she'd trust this stranger without question. Thanks to recent events however, she had learned not to be so naive.

"Alright. Ahem. I am Captain Undyne of the Underground Royal Guard. Due to my strength and position, I am regarded as one of the strongest monsters, a member of the Underground Elite." Undyne stated. "As for how I got here... Alphys, the Royal Scientist from where I come from was working on making Anime real, which by the way, is super freaking cool! Ahem. Alphys was experimenting with a power known as Determination. Unfortunately one of her trials tossed me here with no way back."

ELDo6rN.png

"Sigh... I miss her already."

@Hahli Nuva

Corrin listened to Undyne's story. She could be fabricating it, but she seemed to miss this Alphys person.

"We are not from this world, either. It seems as if all of us have been brought here. But why?"

@Raynar Saassin

xTLHrRj.png

"That's what I want to damn know." Undyne stated with an angry expression. "But I gotta say, kicking the asses of these monsters is fun. I haven't had this much of a challenge in a long time. Being an Elite of the Underground kinda gets boring after a while."

OR8VoMf.png

"We should be getting close to the location I talked about. Hopefully we won't meet any monsters there."

"The way you talk like that, it's like you secretly hope there are. But I guess there's some good in expecting trouble in this place, whatever this place is." Ephraim stated as he walked alongside Undyne.

Hector had a question on his mind and finally had the time to say it. "Hey, Corrin. The Dragon's in your world. They aren't evil right? They hadn't tried to destroy your world's humanity?"

@Hahli Nuva

Corrin fell behind to walk with Hector while Ephraim and Undyne went ahead. "Dragons are revered as Gods to our nations. There are two dragons for both Hoshido, and Nohr. The Dawn dragon, and the Dusk dragon. And then there's me...."

@Raynar Saassin

""And then there's me..."? Forgive my curiosity but what exactly do you mean by that? What makes you different from your great dragons?" Hector asked with a confused tone. What did she mean by that?

@Hahli Nuva

Corrin sighed. She hadn't come to terms with it exactly herself, but she couldn't run away from what or who she was.

"I was born in a third kingdom. Most people in my world only know of the two great kingdoms, Hoshido and Nohr. I was born in Valla, a third kingdom that disappeared when my father Anankos went mad and destroyed it. He split into two halves, and his good half sent me and my mother to live in Hoshido. I was then kidnapped by Nohr and raised there. When the time came to choose a side, I chose neither, and jumped off of the great cliff leading to the other side."

@Raynar Saassin

"Actually, yes." Cal lifted off and flew towards a random direction, scanning the ground below with both the on-board computer and his eyes. He didn't want to admit that he usually didn't stick around for small talk, unless it was a paid business, but he's feeling surprisingly open today. He briefly considered the possibility that the woman may be controlling him with magic, or whatever, but he quickly threw that aside. Nothing she's done has pointed, even remotely, at that conclusion. For now.

"Well, I'm all yours. Ask me whatever, but I can't guarantee I'll be able to answer all of them without some sort of payment."

@Raynar Saassin

Kiratta was, first and foremost, beyond irritated. Why did the High Brass even think that escort missions were a decent idea? Out of all of her assignments, her latest one was certainly the worst. There were absolutely zero signs of enemy activity throughout the entire trip, but the cowardly merchant insisted that they kept constant patrols around the perimeter of his transport frigate. Not only that, but a trip that could've easily be completed in less than half an hour lasted for what felt like an eternity thanks to the man's paranoia. The worst of it all was that she was not allowed to voice her frustrations at any point. Her commanding officers did tell her to be in her best mood, as the guy was supposedly meant to work as a critical supply runner for the Alliance if brought safely to the Irrepressible's fleet.

Right now, she was just glad she was far away from both her superiors and that merchant. Some peace and quiet was all she yearned for.

The pilot stomped her way into her private quarters, and as soon as she heard the familiar sound of the door sliding shut behind her, she breathed deeply. Finally, she was enveloped in sweet, sweet silence. Dragging herself over to her bed, Kiratta unzipped the upper half of her flying suit before collapsing face first onto her bed, sighing. It was never exactly comfortable, though after all she had to go through today, even the steel floor would feel like a sea of soft, silken pillows. Exhaustion swooped in right after, adding up to her stress, and the woman was incapable of even moving.

Her rest was disturbed, however. Just as Kiratta felt sleep taking over her conscience, an odd sound filled the room, at first low, like the humming of the ship's light's. Within seconds, however, it grew to be as loud as the roars coming from the engine room. She stirred, frowning, and rolled over, only to be blinded by a bright flash of green. She tried to speak, though the words were lost at her throat as a strong force pulled her towards the light, prompting her to scream out in surprise and fear. The noises only intensified, the strange force denying her of any attempt at resisting. In the blink of an eye, she was thrown into what looked like an infinite, glowing spiral, sending her body spinning like a mere ragdoll. Her ears rung, her sight lost focus, and her head was enveloped by a blasting pain.

This unexplained, painful trip ended as quickly as it started, though its effects lingered on Kiratta. She could only feel herself being thrown against a hard surface, rolling till her shoulders came into contact with what she assumed was a wall. Vertigo kicked in like a hammer to the head, and the pilot could only weakly face the floor as she emptied her stomach. Even with all the discomfort, the rebel gathered enough strength to sit herself up against the wall, closing her eyes and resting her head back. Little by little, the dizziness went away, and her torturous headache turned into a lightly throbbing pain, perhaps bearable enough to get her thoughts back in line. After a few deep breaths, she deemed herself ready to get back up on her feet.

Using the wall as support, she stood up with a bit of effort, stumbling back and forth as the dizziness returned. "It's okay, it's okay..." She told herself, holding a hand to her forehead as she leaned against the wall, timing her breaths to calm her racing heart. Kiratta then gazed up, slowly, only to recoil in shock. She wasn't in her quarters anymore, or the Irrepressible. Before her, tall buildings that kissed the orange skies burned brightly, the flames licking the charred concrete and shattering the few remaining windows with the heat. In the distance, the telltale echoes of battle warned her of a threat, and she quickly reached for her pistol which, thankfully, still sat at its holster.

Armed, yet still disoriented, Kiratta began to walk. Her mind was assaulted by a million questions: how did she get here? Where was she? What happened to this place? The lack of answers, coupled by the lack of hints left her tense, hands trembling as she gulped down the lump forming at her throat. Minutes passed by as she shakily made her way through what looked like the ruins of a collapsed buildings, telling by the windows and doors sitting at odd angles. Eventually, the tilted halls lead her outside, where a crude gateway was created from a blast hole through a wall. The sight outside was no prettier than anything she had seen so far; worse, she guessed that this was easily the most hellish thing she had seen all day.

The avenue was littered with debris, burning vehicles and mutilated corpses. Dried blood was everywhere, painting the scene with brutality. The air was heavy with the scent smoke. Kiratta struggled to remain on her feet, eyes wide and skin pale. "By the Force... what happened here?!"

As soon as she finished her words, chatter reached her ears. Throwing her head towards the general direction of the sounds, Kiratta wasted no time in beginning her cautious approach. Crouching behind some of the debris, she peeked out whenever possible, already making out a couple of forms standing in the distance. Upon closer inspection, they looked as out of place as her, although there was no air of friendliness between them. She breathed deeply, nodding her head a couple times as she repeated some calming words in her mind, before standing from behind her cover. Her hands were held high, though she still had her blaster pistol in hand.

"Uh... hello?"

"U-Um..." Terra exclaimed, stuttering for a moment as to what she could ask. What could she ask him that she probably already knows? He has access to equipment similar to what she experienced back in her world and he didn't trust her at first due to her being provoked by one of his drones.

"Well... I guess if I were to ask one question... Does your world also have a evil empire like mine does?" She exclaimed with a brief pause as she patiently waited for his answer.

@Agent Puncake

"Hmm... So when you had to choose between the family you were raised with and the ones who you were blood-related to, you just chose to off yourself? Is that what you're getting at?" Hector exclaimed, thinking her story through. "Because by the sounds of it, the people of "Hoshido" were your blood whereas these "Nohr" types forced you to live with them."

"Even I couldn't help but figure that one out." Ephraim stated, who clearly listened in to the conversation despite not being there directly. "It sounded like you had quite the choice to make and couldn't do it because of your love for both."

OR8VoMf.png

"Damn... That's a cold backstory..." Undyne stated. "I had watched these "Anime" shows that Alphys showed me back home and some of the characters had similar backstories. It's totally badass! But uh, I understand how you must of felt when making that choice."

@Hahli Nuva

Widowmaker and Reaper were on a mission together in Russia with the assistance of Sombra. Their target? Was the chairman of Volskaya Industries: Kayla Volskaya. As each operative got into position after Sombra's hacking expertise with the security systems and doors, the main chairman had arrived inside the main building. As she perused around, Widowmaker was set in position at a high vantage-point, pulling out her Widow's Kiss and aiming for the head thanks to the aid of her infra-red helmet.

However something extremely strange had happened; Just as Widow was about to take the shot, both her and Reaper felt an energy building up inside them, unlike anything they have ever seen before as they just suddenly vanished out of existence! Hurling themselves through what appeared to be an endless void, they had eventually stopped and landed with a loud thud on the ground. When they came to, they witnessed a destroyed world, with ruined buildings, bodies lying everywhere and wrecked machines including a few Omnic Bastions and Orisa's around.

"Reaper. Get off me. You are sitting on my chest-plate." Came from an annoyed Widowmaker as she pushed him off angrily.

reaper-concept.jpg

"Oh, Sorry for that strange void pulling us both and making me fall on top of you, it won't happen again, hahahaha." Reaper laughed halfheartedly as he got up from being pushed into the ground and immediately began bickering with Widowmaker. "If you had just taken the damn shot before this had happened, we wouldn't be in for a negative de-briefing back at Talon."

"Blame the mysterious teleport that we were thrown into, Reaper. And where were you when I got snuck up on in our last mission? I'm a sniper, I need you to keep watching my back, not playing with your shotguns."

"Is the sniper whining because you couldn't change to your Assault Mode in time? You know, you're lucky I was watching over you during that mission, otherwise you might not be here right now, Widowmaker."

"Vous êtes un coéquipier tellement incompétent, Reaper."

"Hahahaha. What's that? I don't quite understand anger." Reaper laughed mockingly when they both heard an approaching voice say hello. Both of them responded on instinct, Reaper aiming his Hellfire Shotguns and Widowmaker aiming her Sniper Rifle at the source of the voice, which appeared to be a human female.

"Evil empire... depends. I was never directly involved in the conflict, and I was ever only employed by one side when the needed something done, or the other if they needed something else done. That said, I've never quite taken sides. Some believe their government is this, well, oppressive regime that wants nothing but to torture their citizens, while others think that they're doing the best they could to provide for their citizens. And trust me, I've seen both arguments come to life, in front of my own eyes. It's hard to say."

He directed the ship towards a large, burning skyscraper to take a closer look. "What about whatever you said? Your evil empire. What's it like?"

@Raynar Saassin

"The Gestahlian Empire..." Terra paused for a moment to remember what she knew about them. "They were a group that were bent on conquering our world... But what they did was they captured innocent espers and transformed them into Magicite Crystals... Like this one." She reached into her pocket and pulled out one of many Magicite Crystals she possessed.

"Espers are magical creatures who possess unparalleled magical abilities... Like me. But I was born from a Esper Father and a Human Mother... This empire even went so far as to disturb the balance of the Warring Triad: Three Ancient Espers turned to stone and kept a strong balance of Magic... Due to that, the one known as Kefka used all that power to destroy the world..."

@Agent Puncake

Kiratta froze in place as the two figures turned around, guns pointed towards her with sudden ferocity. Naturally, she would aim her blaster pistol at them, and initiate a standoff, though it didn't take a genius to realize that she was put into a ridiculous disadvantage here. Outgunned and outnumbered, the pilot gulped, eyes fearfully glancing back and forth between the odd pair before her, and internally admitted defeat. One of them was clad all in black, head covered in a hood and face concealed behind a mask that vaguely resembled a skull. Both their hands held up twin weapons, though given their design, she couldn't exactly guess what weapon type it was. All she knew was that either they were ridiculously strong to fire two guns of that size with a single arm each, or too stupid in an attempt to look 'cool'.

The other one - clearly a female - sported a pale-ish blue skin, and wore a somewhat skimpy outfit. In her arms was an intricately designed weapon that Kiratta took for a rifle, though whether it was an assault type or a sniper, she couldn't exactly tell. Between their greatly differing appearances, all the rebel had certainty about was that they simply didn't belong here. Her mind raced along with her heart, seeking something appropriate - and safe - to say in this situation. But then again, what would count as safe? She was held up by a duo whose guns were more than capable of tearing her in half, and clearly had no intent to be friendly with her.

"I'm... not an enemy." She began, angling her blaster pistol so it pointed away from them. I can't lay a finger on them, even if I wanted. "I'm not sure how I got here, I'm just... confused. By the Force, I swear I'm no threat to you both."

Just as she finished her words, the rebel felt her balance escaping her, stumbling about drunkenly. For some reason, her vertigo returned, and she arched over, as if to vomit, though it never came.

"Ugh. It's another drunk looking to pick a fight but once they see tough opponents, they surrender." Widowmaker exclaimed, keeping her weapon focused whereas Reaper had other ideas.

"You certainly don't look like someone we'd ever encounter. For starters, no members of Talon or even Overwatch would bear uniform like that, and be equipped with a mere pistol---"

"--- Are you forgetting about Angelia? Or that gamer girl? Or even that cowboy---"

"--- We do not discuss anything about McCree." Reaper stated, ignoring the fact that he was talking to the rebel. "He is nothing more than a mere vigilante criminal."

"Who has better aiming than you, Reaper."

"You better not go there, Widowmaker. We haven't the time to be bickering when someone's clearly encountered us." Reaper then turned towards the Rebel.

reaper-concept.jpg

"State your name, any kind of rank and what you were doing prior to this encounter. And don't take advantage of this situation. This is the only time I'm playing nice."

Meanwhile Widowmaker stood against a ruined building wall and kept her Sniper Rifle aimed at the Rebel's head.

"Try anything, and well, you'll learn why my iconic line is "One shot, one kill." And while you're at it, what is this "Force" you speak of?"

"I didn't kill myself, if that's what you're thinking. No. In my world, there is a secret portal to Valla that few knew about. A strange and powerful woman named Azura helped me get there, and she was one of my closest friends. She knew I could never chose one or the other, and found a way to help me unite both families. Eventually, we found out my father was still alive, and that he was the force responsible for the war between Hoshido and Nohr."

"Nobody forced me to do anything. Both sides loved me very much, and I cannot describe how I felt at that moment."

@Raynar Saassin

"I can imagine that people on both sides loved you very much!" Undyne exclaimed with a smile as she took the liberty of going faster to scout, like Ephraim did for them a few hours ago.

"I have a question now." Ephraim stated, stopping to talk to Corrin. "Have you had a situation where you had someone who was close to you, turn out to be evil?" He asked, speaking from experience. "I am quite curious if you have. Then I'd have something to relate with you."

@Hahli Nuva

Corrin's eyes steeled, just for a second as she looked into Ephraim's own. "Yes. His name was Gunther, and he was one of my retainers. He killed an ally during our Campagin against Anankos and it turned out he was working for him the entire time. I was heartbroken to see the man I thought of as a father figure cut down a powerful friend."

@Raynar Saassin

Ephraim sympathised with Corrin and began to speak up about his experiences. "I had a close friend... Lyon." Ephraim steeled his eyes and looked straight into Corrin's eyes just like she did.

"He was the Prince of Grado, and he was next to take the throne. Before the war, me and my sister Eirika would visit Grado to see Lyon or Lyon would visit Renais to see us, and we'd talk about all sorts of things including about our training and classes from our superiors. He was quite possibly one of the most peaceful Princes you could of met. But we discovered a dark secret. He was working on a secret project called the Dark Stone which contained a fraction of a being's power known as the Demon King. Lyon... Let the Demon King enter him, and his personality changed entirely. He started the war. He made Emperor Vigarde of Grado declare war on the entirety of Magvel and was destroying each Sacred Stone one by one. Those stones were keeping the Demon King sealed away, and Lyon was no longer himself after letting the Demon King influence him."

Ephraim stopped for a moment and brandished his lance for a moment. "In doing so, he became a monster. He was no longer the Lyon both me and Eirika had known, he was a true megalomaniac. Enough to rally Grado to his own cause and revive the terror. I spared no hesitation when killing him, but Eirika... She couldn't handle the truth." Ephraim stated, showing some degree of honour and disgust. "I still can't help but think about that moment. Finding out that the one thing we've been keeping sealed away for centuries, even decades, and Lyon just let him possess him."
