Ancient Forest (1X1)

She watches him curiously before closing her eyes as well, her back resting against the wall of the hut. She felt so tired. She was worried though. She wanted the brother's to be safe.

He seemed calm for a while, though his wings showed themselves. He didn't seem to be controlling his human disguise too well in this state, but so far she had only ever seen his wings. Up until now, anyway, now as tiny little red horns started to poke out of his hair.

She had opened her eyes for a moment so she could move a little. She wanted to lay down. She paused thougb as she caught sight of the change in his appearance. There was no fear in her, she was just curious.

She didn't want to disturb him though so she laid down quietly and just watched him curiously.

It didn't take long then for his skin to be tinted red, which quickly faded in to become his prominent skin color. He seemed to tense up a little after this, starting to feel something off.

She had started to fall asleep after a moment. Curling up gently, her breathing becoming light.

Not long after she fell asleep, he opened his eyes and looked at her. Taking a minute to get his human disguise back up, he leaned against the wall and closed his eyes again, letting himself fall asleep too.

She rests soundly with him there. His presence helping to keep her calm so she could rest. She managed to rest for a few hours before waking again. She yawns tiredly.

When Sarah woke up, Red was still sound asleep. He was now curled up on the ground, seemed almost limp, maybe even almost dead. In fact, from the way his chest moving, it looked like his breathing had slowed way down.

She blinks a bit as she looks to him. Gently she moves to him and touches his shoulder. Worry filling her eyes.

He didn't move or respond in any way. Luckily his human disguise had kept up or something definitely would've been wrong. One little response, though, that seemed beyond his control, was his breathing becoming just a hair more normal.

She relaxes a little thinking he was okay. She didn't want to wake him if he didn't need to be. She looks out the door way wondering how his brothers were doing.

Almost as if having the brothers in her thoughts had summoned one of them, Orange appeared in the doorway. His eyes instantly landed on Red and he approached the sleeping older brother. "He must be having one of his dreams again..."

She blinks a little to Orange. "His dreams?" She looks to Red with concern now. "Do I need to wake him up?" She asks.

"I don't think we can. Usually when he has these dreams, no matter what we do, he stays knocked out until he eventually wakes up on his own. So I guess all we can do is stay here and once he's awake, make sure he's okay."

"Recently they've only happened about a couple of times a month. But then sometimes it can short, and sometimes he could be knocked out for an hour or more." Orange touches his brother's shoulder, then turns to face Sarah. "Has he told you about these dreams? Something about a doll maker and such?"

She nods a little, "kind of..." She shakes her head slightly. "Do you think someone could be causing the dreams?"

"Like who? None of us really know any magic, at least none that could do this kind of thing. Unless you're suggesting it might be something outside this area?"

She nods a bit. "Someone who can do magic...just don't know if anyone who can.." She looks at Red. " it just doesn't seem normal."

He falls silent as he tries to think about it, then just turns his attention to his brother and keeps his focus on him. He seemed worried about Red, even if he knew about these dreams. What if he didn't come back for some reason...? What if he just ended up in that dream realm forever? It sounded far-fetched, even in Orange's mind, but the thought still worried him.
